I am delighted to welcome you to the Glenmere Community Primary School website. We are a busy but friendly school, with lots happening each term. I hope our website gives you a flavour of life at the school, a sense of what we value for our children, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
At Glenmere we appreciate the importance of your child’s formative years at school and strive to create a setting that is warm, welcoming and supportive whilst challenging children to become independent life-long learners.
We look forward to meeting you.
Headteacher: Mrs Samantha Conlon

Year 3 had the most amazing time during their Egyptians workshop! They learnt so much about Cleopatra, and she showed them how to: mummify a body and put the organs in canopic jars, how to play Egyptian games, dance like Egyptians and build their own pyramid! https://t.co/CVQpLR92Iq
What an amazing time year 3 had during their cricket session and what beautiful weather they had for it too! The children loved the round robin of activities, but especially the ball machine…they felt like professionals and looked like that too! https://t.co/f0U8ghauSg
Year 3 have learnt new skills in art this week, including tying and twisting and applied them to creating new 3D art sculptures. This followed on from the skills they learnt last week, such as slotting and folding, and allowed them to show amazing creativity and progress! https://t.co/Tavoerwk20
