- Swimming is on Wednesdays
- Tennis and Basketball is on Thursdays
- Year 5 have PE throughout the week so remember to bring kit in daily (or leave in school)
- Spellings are tested on a Tuesday
- Homework is given every Tuesday and is due the following Monday
At Glenmere, we use Spelling Shed to help with our spellings - all children in Year 5 have been given their login and will be given spellings on a weekly basis.

Here you will find the homework knowledge organisers where the children will learn a section each week. This knowledge will form part of in class learning and there will be quizzes related to the organisers.

White Rose Maths Resources
Here you will find resources to support the learning of maths using the White Rose approach that we use daily in Year 5. White Rose Maths is excited to have produced a range of work booklets for parents and children to use over the summer or during next year. These booklets can be found on Amazon for the Kindle or downloaded below. There is one booklet for each of our blocks for Y1 to Y6.
